The 8th International CannaBusiness® was a big success. With about 1,300 trade visitors, last year`s high figures were once again achieved – the International CannaBusiness® remains the world`s most important hemp trade forum! On Sunday, open also to non-trade visitors, 2,500 visitors flocked into the Europhalle.

Also the media echo was once again excellent. It was clearly confirmed at the 8th International CannaBusiness® that the media interest in hemp and hemp business is booming in Germany right now. Several tv stations like SAT1, WDR and TV NRW (plus several independent tv journalists), and broadcast stations like Hessischer Rundfunk, Bayerischer Rundfunk, WDR 2 and Deutsche Welle featured up-to-date reports about this year`s CannaBusiness®. Numerous regional and nationwide newspapers supported the fair with excellent articles before and after the event, and almost the full range of specialized hemp media was present.

Our new CannaBusiness® Magazine (new: separate issues in German and English) had a felicitous premiere as trade medium of the international hemp branch, gaining an excellent response by both exhibitors and trade visitors. From next year on, we will offer a spring and a fair edition, featuring interesting articles from hemp countries around the globe.

We would like to thank all media representatives for attending the 8th International CannaBusiness®. Year after year, you help reducing the lack of information about hemp and hemp products that still many people have. But due to conscientious reporting, more and more people come to know about the large and manifold potential of the hemp plant, learning that hemp is not all about drugs. Since its beginning, the CannaBusiness® acts as multiplier in this process. By means of the enormous media interest in our fair and our own comprehensive world-wide press and PR work, many important information about hemp are transferred with wide reach - right across the whole society.

In this sense, we hope for good cooperation and reporting also in the future.
